Terms & Conditions / Code of Ethics

My services are to serve my clients’ needs. I treat everyone with equal respect regardless of race, religion, orientation or gender.

Readings are held in the strictest of confidence. I don’t share information with third parties. I do not solicit.

I do not read for persons under 18 years of age.

I will not offer advice for areas in which I am not qualified. I will therefore not read for financial, legal or medical issues. I don’t read on the subject of past lives, suspected possession, demonic energy, curses or hexes, lottery numbers, lost items or crimes. I will refuse to read on the same topic within a short period of time.

Rest assured, I won’t ever predict death, bad health or severe injury.

If I suspect a heavy reliance on tarot, or a client is showing addictive behaviour, I will decline further readings. I will not tolerate abuse or foul language. Abusive communications via email will be blocked.

As a policy, I have the right to refuse a reading for any reason.

This site is for entertainment purposes only. You must be at least 18 years old to use the website or make a reading purchase. By clicking ‘Buy Now’ on any service, you agree that any readings/downloads purchased are subject to your own interpretation. Payments

All payments are made securely through PayPal, the world’s leading online payment system. You can find their Privacy Policy here. Via PayPal, all transaction are secure. I do not request or store any credit card information.

Refunds

I do not offer refunds on paid digital downloads, tarot tuition, or readings. If you are unsatisfied with your reading, tuition session, or download, you can contact me through julie@creativesoultarot.com and I will do my best to provide a resolution.

Intellectual Property

The Website and Service Content contains intellectual property owned by Julie Embleton, including the Creative Soul Tarot trademark and logo, copyrights, proprietary information, and other intellectual property. You may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale of, create derivative works from, distribute, display, reproduce or perform, or in any way exploit in any format whatsoever any of the Website or Service Content or intellectual property, in whole or in part, without my prior written consent. I reserve the right to take legal action if you are caught violating this intellectual property policy.

I respect your right to privacy and am committed to protecting your personal information. The purpose of this privacy notice is to explain how I collect and use personal information.

In this privacy statement, references to “we”, “us”, “me”, and “our” are to Julie Embleton. References to “my Website” or “the Website” are to www.creativesoultarot.com. “You” refers to any user of this website www.creativesoultarot.com. Any other websites which may be linked to by my website, or may link to my website are subject to their own privacy statement and policy, which may differ from mine.

1. Personal Data

If you subscribe to my newsletter, your information is completely confidential. I do not give your information to third parties or send out spam. You may opt-out at any time. If you choose to contact me by clicking an email address link, you will be sending me your personal data. Never submit sensitive personal data like credit card or bank details by email. Payments are only to be made through PayPal. Only I have access to any data sent to me by email.

2. What I do with Personal Data

Data submitted will only be used by me to answer your query or provide you with a service as requested. I will never sell, distribute or lease any personal data unless I have your permission, or am required by law to do so.

3. How long I store Personal Data

I only keep your personal data for as long as needed: so that I can answer your queries and/or so that I can provide you with a service and/or I am required to do so by law and/or you have agreed to receive marketing materials from me. Email readings are deleted after four weeks. This includes the reading text and/or photographs of the spread. If you contact me after the four week period with a question relating to your reading, I will be unable to offer assistance.

4. Access to Personal Data

As a customer, you have the right to request a copy of any personal data that I may currently hold about you, and to amend or request me to delete the personal data I hold about you. In order to receive such information please send your contact details including name, email address and postal address to julie@creativesoultarot.com

Agreement

I assume that all visitors using my website, clients and potential clients have carefully read this document and agree to its contents. If someone does not agree with this privacy policy, they should refrain from using my website. This privacy statement may change from time to time in line with legislation. I will not inform clients or website users of these changes. I recommend that you check this page occasionally for any privacy, disclaimer, or terms & conditions statement changes.
