Hello, Creatives!
Welcome to a new week! Is spring stirring where you are? While standing at my kitchen window this morning, I noticed the snowdrops emerging from under the rowan tree in my back garden. The daffodil stems are up too, but no sign of their yellow blooms just yet. I also have a willow tree that’s starting to show some fluffy buds, so it appears spring has begun to waken. The days are a little longer here too in Ireland, although the weather is still that typical brew of cold, wind, and rain that we get at this time of year, which is why I’m peeping at my garden from inside, and not brave enough to wander outside.
For this week’s reading, I’m using the Situation, Action, Outcome spread. So grab a cuppa and put your feet up while I tell you what’s in store.
The Knight of Wands leads the charge this week. A whirlwind of passion, drive, and fiery creative power, this is a go-go-go energy where you might find yourself not knowing your ass from your elbow you’re so busy creating. While this dynamic Wands energy is great for driving creativity, it can be a little too hot to handle. Where’s your head at right now? Have you so many ideas, or projects on the go that you’re finding it hard to pick one task and get it done? Settling on one thing may be your biggest issue this week.
Or maybe you’re so caught up with creating, you’re purposely letting all other aspects of life take a back seat. Watch out for how you communicate this week. With all this passion and determination, there might be fiery words spoken in the heat of a moment. Overall, the message is one of passionate creation, where you may feel like you’re completely tapped into Source and unstoppable!

The 5 of Wands in the Action position brings an energy of challenge, where you know what you want, and woe betide the person who gets in your way. With the impact of the Knight, there’s a single-mindedness vibe this week, and nothing or no-one can stand in your way. Don’t be afraid to stand up for yourself, but don’t cause strife either. Find balance as you navigate this week.
The urge to create is possibly more alive than you’ve felt in a while, and as those around you may not understand your inexhaustible state, be gentle with them. Collaborations and/or competition will also add to your challenges this week. You may find yourself in a contest—not in a negative way, but in one which only adds to your dynamism!
The Outcome of this energised week is the 6 of Cups. This card speaks of looking to the past and gathering all its good into the present as a reminder of what you’ve endured and how you’ve matured. Rest and relaxation is important, and this quiet time to heal will be important after the fiery energy of the Wands burns out—because it will!
You may find yourself feeling nostalgic, thinking back to ‘better times’ when you perceived life to be simpler. If so, what of that time can you reinstate in your current life? If you feel that healing and positivity can come from a left behind aspect of years gone by, consider how you can reinvent it for today and the future. After such a wild week of creativity, invite your inner child out to play. Take some time to enjoy fun, real honest to goodness, laugh your socks off, fun.
I can certainly vibe with the urge to create this week, so the Wands energy has already got me fired up. It looks like we’ll all be working hard as the days progress, but don’t forget to play hard too once the blaze of creative flow flickers out!
