Tarot for the Collective

This theme of this week’s Tarot Forecast comes by request. The query centres on finding clarity within a muddled situation, so I’m asking the cards What is seen, What is not seen, and How to proceed.

Three tarot cards on a mosaic table with sunlit background: The High Priestess, Knave of Pentacles, and The Hermit, each with colorful designs.
The High Priestess, Knave of Pentacles, The Hermit. Deck: Tarot de Carlotydes

The High Priestess in the What is Seen position, opens our reading with an air of ambiguity. This enigmatic figure hides the truth we seek behind a veil, advising that the answers can only be found once we connect with our intuition and subconscious. Therefore, we may already be having difficulty truly grasping what we already see—or have formed an incorrect assumption of what we presume to be the truth. Are you ready to start peeling away the layers? Because with The High Priestess, it appears we have some excavation work to do if we want to find initial clarity. Meditate, reflect, journal. Silence the external world to hear the quiet whisper of your inner self. Only in this solitude will the veil lift and your eyes see the absolute truth.

“The mind that opens to new ideas never returns to its original size.” - Albert Einstein

The Knave (Page) of Pentacles leaps in next. Pages bring an energy of curiosity. They love to explore and learn, and while their youthful nature often needs guidance, their open nature can manifest new opportunities and experiences. Good news about finances, a job, or the home environment may sweeten this incoming week. In the What is Not Seen position, the Knave is therefore telling us to have a little faith, that although we may not see our way out of a current situation, help is on the way. Pentacles are practical and steady by nature, so whatever good fortune comes your way, avoid rushing in. Lean into that curious Page energy and arm yourself with all the necessary knowledge, as sometimes, what we don’t see, is how the shiny pentacle on offer may be tarnished.

There's no escaping the message we need to connect within this week!

Another potent message about introspection comes with The Hermit. In the How to Proceed position, it guides us towards tuning out the external world and connecting within for the answer. An overall theme of ‘unseen’ wafts through this week’s tarot forecast, so to ensure the right moves are made, embody The Hermit’s serenity and wisdom. Due diligence needs to front any major decision (especially in relation to finance), so if there’s any uncertainty, heed the warning instinct and take time to find clarity. With The High Priestess and The Hermit bookending the reading, we’re looking at a significant need to ignore the opinions—and maybe even the persuasions—of others this week. Give your intuition the space it needs to be heard. If something feels ‘off’ heed that warning.

Seek and you shall find appears to be the overriding message this week. There’s a strong sense of the truth being veiled, so we’d be wise to take nothing at face value. We also need to allow intuition have its say. When gut instinct pokes—positive or negative—respect it. Be curious, do the research, and avoid making snap decisions. Here’s to a week of unveiling, my friends! As always with the tarot forecast, take what resonates, and leave aside what doesn’t!
