Tarot for the Collective

Hello, my friends. Welcome to your weekly Tarot Forecast. We’re into the last few days of the 5 of Pentacles influence, so a quick reminder that this month’s anchor card can stir up feelings of scarcity, especially when we’re tired, stretched, or feeling on the outside of something we want. It may show up as worries about money, support, belonging, or worthiness, but it also points to the doorway back to warmth: asking for help and noticing where resources are already within reach.

We’ve just moved out of the Full Moon in Aries, and you might still feel its ‘afterglow’ (aka wild energy) as the week unfolds. This might take shape as a push for truth or the desire to act right now. For many, it can show up as a low tolerance for anything that feels fake or misaligned. If you’re sensing or seeing the signs that something genuine wants your attention, Aries asks you to tackle it with courage.

Three tarot cards on a table: 3 of Swords, 9 of Pentacles, and King of Pentacles, with ornate figures and a soft mystical glow.
3 of Swords, 9 of Pentacles, King of Pentacles. Deck: Tarot Illuminati by Erik C Dunne

The 3 of Swords opens the week with a raw kind of honesty. ‘Feel your feels’ is the message of this card. Name what’s coursing through you, not because you’re being asked to sit in pain, but so that the energy can move through and out. You may notice a sharp moment of clarity around a relationship, a commitment, or maybe even self-talk that’s been quietly wounding you. Under the 5 of Pentacles’ influence, this can link to feeling unsupported or fearing rejection, even when support is available. Make this a week for clear communication, healthy boundaries, and releasing the belief you have to carry it all alone. If grief is present, give it space to be heard: a page in your journal, a walk in the air, a conversation with someone safe.

Affirmation: I honour my truth, and I let my heart clear what it no longer needs to hold.

The 9 of Pentacles arrives as your recalibration point. After emotional clarity, you’re invited back into your own garden to tend self-respect and steady routines. I love this card, because it brings with it an invitation to enjoy the quiet confidence that comes from showing up for yourself. This is a card of earned comfort, not flashy success. If you’re not feeling this comfort, examine where you’ve been undervaluing your progress or waiting for permission to enjoy what you’ve built. With the 5 of Pentacles as the monthly backdrop, the 9 of Pentacles is medicine for that scarcity thinking. It reminds you that resourcefulness is a spiritual practice: tending what you have, receiving compliments without deflecting, and letting pleasure be part of your healing.

Affirmation: I am safe to receive, and I celebrate the life I’m creating, one steady step at a time.

The King of Pentacles closes the reading with grounded leadership. This is the energy of someone who makes wise choices and honours their values. The King builds stability through consistency, so you may be called to take yourself seriously in a new way this week. Perhaps setting a boundary around your time, making a practical plan, or investing in something that supports your long-term wellbeing. If the 5 of Pentacles has been whispering “you can’t”, the King retorts with “let’s look at the facts and choose what’s practical”. This card can also highlight supportive masculine energy in the form of a mentor or steady presence who helps you feel resourced. Lead with integrity, and let your actions match your intentions.

Affirmation: I trust my capacity to create stability, and I make decisions that support my future self.

This Tarot Forecast speaks of a clear-hearted release (3 of Swords), a return to self-worth and enjoyment (9 of Pentacles), and a steady step into practical authority (King of Pentacles). With the 5 of Pentacles anchoring these final few days of the month, the invitation is to stop trying to do it all alone and to choose support, structure, and self-respect over struggle. As always, take what resonates, and leave aside what doesn’t! The Tarot Forecast will take a break next week, so I’ll be back on the 12th.

If you’re feeling the Full Moon in Aries stirring up truth, boundaries, or big decisions, my tarot and Rahanni sessions can support you in finding clarity and coming back to a grounded plan that actually fits your life.

Journal prompts

  1. Where am I still bracing for rejection or lack, and what evidence do I have that support is available to me now?

  2. What have I already built that I’m not fully allowing myself to enjoy or acknowledge?

  3. What does ‘sustainable success’ look like for me this week, in my money, my time, and my energy?
