Tarot for the Collective
As we approach the close of another year, today brings the last Tarot Forecast of 2025. Before I begin, I want to thank you for your support this year. Whether you read via the blog, are a new subscriber or have been receiving the newsletter for a few years, I am deeply grateful that you’re here. I also want to thank everyone who has taken the time out to email me requests for the reading themes, share their own insights, or just have a wee tarot chat. It’s been so much fun engaging with you all. Thank you also to all my wonderful tarot clients and course attendees (in-person and online!). It’s been a pleasure reading for you, teaching, and sharing my tarot wisdom. I have lots planned for 2026, including online and in-person tarot classes for beginners and intermediate, meditations, courses, and more! For now, I’m taking a short break and will return with fresh insights in the new year, so until then, let’s see what the cards have to say for the weeks ahead.
This week, our focus is on inner-peace and self-care, two essentials as we step into the whirlwind of the holiday season. It’s a time when the world feels especially fast-paced, so let’s pause together, breathe, and allow the cards to guide us.
Temperance
Temperance arrives with a gentle reminder to seek balance. As December’s energy ramps up, this card encourages you to blend patience with compassion, both for yourself and others. It’s about finding your own middle ground, making space for stillness amid the busyness, and remembering that harmony is cultivated, not found. Temperance asks you to honour your needs, create healthy boundaries, and let calmness be your anchor.
Death
Before panic sets in, remember that Death in tarot is about transformation, not endings. This card signals a powerful opportunity to release what no longer serves you. Whether it’s outdated routines, old emotional patterns, or simply the habit of over-committing, now is the time to let go. By embracing change, you create space for healing and growth. Think of this as a gentle invitation to shed stress and make room for new energy as the year closes.
10 of Pentacles
The 10 of Pentacles brings a reassuring message of stability, abundance, and connection. It’s a card of legacy, family, and the support systems that hold us. Lean into your community, cherish your traditions, and celebrate the little comforts that bring you joy. This card encourages you to appreciate what you’ve built, and to trust that you are supported as you move forward.

As the year draws to a close, this reading is a gentle nudge to nurture yourself, release old burdens, and celebrate the connections that matter most. Remember, self-care is not selfish, and your inner-peace is a gift to both yourself and those around you. As always, take what resonates, and leave aside what doesn’t.
