March Tarot Challenge
Welcome back, tarot lovers, and thank you so much for joining me for last month’s Tarot for the Seasons challenge. Whether you pulled every single day or dipped in when you could, I hope you felt held by the rhythm of it. There is something quietly powerful about showing up for yourself in small, consistent ways.
Have you experienced the momentum of Fire Horse energy yet? For me, it landed in a very real, practical way. I found myself changing a few goals for 2026, and I also started a new training course in Human Design Coaching. The opportunity arrived, it felt aligned, and I chose to say yes. That's often how energetic shifts move through us, not always as a dramatic lightning bolt, but as a gentle nudge towards a braver choice.

As we step into March, the theme is Growth & New Beginnings. We're moving into the seasonal energy that leads us towards the Spring Equinox, when light and dark find balance and the world begins to stretch awake again. Even if the weather is still changeable, (we haven’t had a day without rain here in Ireland since the end of December 2025) nature is already in motion beneath the surface. Seeds are stirring. Shoots are forming. The wheel is turning.
March is the perfect month to explore new paths, fresh starts, and personal growth through tarot. Not in a pressured, hustle-heavy way, but in a grounded, nourishing way. Think of this challenge as a gentle invitation to listen more closely to your inner wisdom, to notice what is ready to bloom, and to take one small aligned step at a time.
Tarot and the Season Connection
Spring energy is not just about doing more. It is about becoming more you.
Tarot is a beautiful companion for this season because it helps you:
Name what is shifting inside you, even when you cannot quite put it into words
Identify what you are ready to release so you can grow with more ease
Clarify what you truly want, not what you think you ‘should’ want
Build trust in your intuition through consistent practice
If you are journaling alongside your pulls, even better. Journaling gives your insights somewhere to land. It slows the mind, deepens the message, and helps you spot patterns across the month. Over time, you will start to recognise your own symbols, your own seasonal cycles, and the way your intuition speaks most clearly.
Weekly Challenge Overview
Each week of March has its own focus, designed to meet you where you are and gently guide you towards growth and new beginnings. You will use a simple 3-card spread each week, with a theme that builds on the last.
You can pull one spread per week, or you can repeat the spread daily and see how the message evolves. There is no right way to do this. Let it be supportive, not stressful.
Week 1: Clearing Space for New Growth
This first week is about making room. Before we begin something new, we often need to clear what is cluttering our energy, attention, or emotional landscape. This is the gentle weeding of the inner garden.

The Inner Garden Clearing
Prompt: Pull three cards with the intention: What needs to be cleared so I can grow well this month?
1: What is ready to be released
2: What is draining my energy or attention
3: What will support a clean, grounded fresh start
Expanded guidance
As you interpret, notice whether your cards speak more to habits, beliefs, relationships, or your inner dialogue. If you pull cards that feel challenging, soften your approach. This is not about judging yourself. It is about becoming aware.
Ask yourself:
What am I holding on to out of fear, comfort, or obligation?
What feels heavy, stale, or no longer aligned?
What would it feel like to make space, even in a small way?
Your action for this week can be tiny and still powerful. A boundary. A declutter. A decision. A gentle no. Clearing space is an act of self-respect.
Week 2: Planting the Seed of Intention
Once space is cleared, we can plant something meaningful. This week is about intention, not perfection. It is about choosing what you want to grow, and giving it your energy with care.

The Seed and Soil Intention
Prompt: Pull three cards with the intention: What new beginning wants to take root in me now?
1: The Seed: what wants to begin
2: The Soil: what will help it grow
3: The First Step: how to nurture it this week
Expanded guidance
This week, let your reading be simple and honest. If the Seed feels exciting, beautiful. If it feels tender or uncertain, that is also valid. New beginnings can be delicate.
Pay attention to the Soil card. It often points to the environment you need, emotionally and practically. Supportive routines. Rest. A mentor. Creative space. More play. Less noise.
Then, commit to the First Step in a way that feels achievable. Spring growth happens through consistency, not pressure.
Week 3: Courage and Expansion
Growth asks us to stretch. This week is about courage, visibility, and expansion. Not necessarily big, dramatic leaps, but the kind of brave that happens when you choose yourself again.

The Brave Bloom Expansion
Prompt: Pull three cards with the intention: Where am I being asked to expand, and how can I do it with courage?
1: Where I am ready to expand
2: What fear or resistance I need to meet with compassion
3: The courageous choice available to me now
Expanded guidance
If you notice resistance, don't take it as a sign you're doing something wrong. Often, resistance appears right before a breakthrough. The key is to meet it with kindness.
Try asking:
What is this fear trying to protect me from?
What would feel like a safe version of expansion?
What support do I need to take the courageous choice?
This week is especially powerful for anyone feeling called to share their work, speak their truth, begin a new project, or step into a new identity.
Week 4: Integration and New Pathways
This final week is about integration. You have cleared, planted, expanded, and now you get to gather what you have learned. Integration turns insight into wisdom. It helps you carry the growth forward.

The Pathway Integration
Prompt: Pull three cards with the intention: What have I learned this month, and how do I carry it into the next season?
1: What has grown or shifted in me
2: What lesson I am integrating
3: The next pathway opening ahead
Expanded guidance
Let this week be reflective. You might like to read back over your notes from earlier in the month and see what patterns appear. Sometimes the growth is obvious. Sometimes it's subtle, like a new level of self-trust.
If the Next Pathway card feels unclear, ask a follow-up question: What is one way I can explore this pathway gently? Then pull a clarifier.
This week is also a lovely time to create a simple ritual for the Spring Equinox, even if it’s just lighting a candle and naming what you are welcoming in.
Downloadable Tracker
Don’t forget to use the printable/downloadable tracker sheet for this challenge. It’s designed to help you stay consistent, record your pulls, and reflect on patterns across the month.
You can print it out and keep it in your journal, or use it digitally if that feels easier. Either way, it’s there to support you.
Further Journaling

Tarot opens the door, and journaling helps you walk through it.
When you write after a reading, you give your intuition time and space to speak. You also create a record you can return to, which is often where the deeper magic happens. A message that felt confusing on day one can become crystal clear two weeks later.
Below are eight journal prompts, two for each week of the challenge, aligned with the weekly theme.
Week 1 journal prompts: Clearing Space for New Growth
What am I ready to release, and what am I afraid will happen if I let it go?
Where in my life do I need more spaciousness, and what is one small change I can make this week?
Week 2 journal prompts: Planting the Seed of Intention
If I trusted myself completely, what new beginning would I choose right now?
What does support look like for me in this season, and how can I receive it more openly?
Week 3 journal prompts: Courage and Expansion
What part of me is asking to be seen, and what would it feel like to
honour that part?
What is the kindest, safest way I can stretch beyond my comfort zone this week?
Week 4 journal prompts: Integration and New Pathways
What has changed in me this month, and how do I know it is real?
What do I want to carry forward into the next season, and what do I want to leave behind?
