Tarot for the Collective

Welcome, beautiful souls, to this week’s Tarot Forecast.

Mid-March carries a reflective current, with the Sun and Mars moving through Pisces and inviting emotional intuition, tenderness and dreamlike insight. At the same time, Mercury Retrograde in the water signs stirs old feelings and unfinished inner truths back to the surface, asking us to revisit, soften and, in many cases, realign. With the 10 of Wands as our monthly anchor, this week invites a pause. We are being shown where the burden has become too heavy, where truth is quietly rising, and where fresh energy is ready to return.

Three tarot cards: Five of Angels, King of Angels, and The Magician. Colorful angelic and mystical imagery with a soft, glowing background.
Five of Angels, King of Angels, The Magician. Deck: The Tarot of Light by Denise Jarvie

Five of Angels – Withdrawal

The Five of Angels opens the reading with a call to step back from noise, pressure and over-identification with difficult thoughts. This is not a card of failure, but of sacred retreat. If emotions have felt tangled, if a situation has left you deflated, or if your mind has been circling the same story, this card gently asks you to turn inward and listen. In the guidebook, this angel transforms through violet flame, suggesting that what feels heavy now is already shifting into a higher truth. With Mercury Retrograde stirring the past, you may notice old beliefs resurfacing, especially those rooted in shame, defeat or self-protection. Let this be your invitation to release the stories that no longer support your becoming. Withdrawal here is wisdom, not avoidance. Space creates clarity, and letting go creates understanding.

Affirmation: I lovingly release old beliefs and return to the peace of my sacred heart.

King of Angels – Peaceful Warrior

The King of Angels arrives as a steady, wise presence after the inward turning of the first card. This is the energy of truth held with compassion and strength guided by love. Shaped by lived experience, the King does not rush in to rescue or control. Instead, he reminds you that your deepest answers are found when you trust your own inner knowing. This card feels especially powerful beside the monthly 10 of Wands, because it asks you to stop carrying everything through force alone. There is another way forward, one rooted in conscious effort and faith in your own voice. You may find that a person, conversation or insight appears this week to help you cut through confusion. If so, notice whether it brings calm rather than drama. The peaceful warrior does not battle for noise. He stands for truth, boundaries, wisdom and heart-led action.

Affirmation: I trust my truth, honour my inner wisdom, and move forward with calm strength.

The Magician – Impulse

The Magician – Impulse

The Magician closes the reading with a spark of movement, possibility and soul-led creation. After reflection and truth-telling comes the reminder that what you seek is also seeking you. This card speaks of synchronicity and the quiet magic that unfolds when you align your energy with what feels deeply right. In this week’s astrology, Pisces softens the edges and heightens intuition, while Mercury Retrograde asks you to review before you leap. So this is not reckless impulse, but inspired action born from inner clarity. The Magician suggests that answers may arrive through a book, a teacher, a song, conversation, memory, or a sudden realisation that lands in the heart. You’re not being asked to force the next chapter, but being asked to notice what is calling you, and to respond with intention. Remember; your energy is magnetic when it is rooted in truth!

Affirmation: I welcome aligned opportunities and trust the magic unfolding through my choices.

Journal Prompts

  • Where in my life am I being invited to step back, soften, and release an old belief or burden?

  • What truth am I ready to honour, even if it asks me to move differently than before?

  • What gentle impulse, idea or opportunity is asking for my attention right now?

This week’s Tarot Forecast moves from retreat, to truth, to aligned action. The Five of Angels asks you to withdraw from what drains you, the King of Angels reminds you to stand in your truth with grace, and The Magician opens the door to fresh possibility. Beneath it all, the 10 of Wands continues to whisper about what you are carrying, and what may now be ready to be laid down. If you’re moving through emotional shifts, relationship changes, or a deeper inner reset, let this reading be a reminder that clarity often comes after the pause.

As always, take what resonates, and leave aside what doesn’t! And if you’d like personal support, I’d be honoured to hold space for you through a tarot reading or meditation session.
