Tarot for the Collective
Hello lovely souls,
I’ve just returned from a magical visit to the UK with my soul sister Luna (of Guided by Luna) where I soaked up the mystical energy of Glastonbury at Chalice Well, White Spring, Tor, The Goddess Temple, and so much more. We did lots of walking, meditating, connecting—and shopping, of course. My two favourite shops were Star Child and Son of Asgard who specialise in herbs, incense, and teas. I’m now fully stocked with delicious brews and scents for the winter. The highlights were our early morning climb up to Tor, cacao in the serenity of Chalice Well, and a long, peaceful while meditating in the Goddess Temple. We drove past Stonehenge on the way, and although we didn’t have time to visit, we could certainly feel the energy even from our distance. It was my first visit to Glastonbury, but definitely won’t be my last. It truly is a special place.
Onto the tarot forecast, and this week, as we bask in the energy of the Waxing Crescent moon, the cosmos is nudging us toward action, intention, and manifesting our desires. It’s a phase that whispers, “Dream bigger, and take the first step”, so whether you’re plotting a new path or simply ready for a fresh start, this is your moment.
9 of Swords
The 9 of Swords often appears when our minds are busy with worry, self-doubt, or regret. During this potent Waxing Crescent phase, it’s natural for anxieties to bubble up as we contemplate new beginnings. You may find yourself replaying old fears or second-guessing your ability to create real change. This card is a gentle nudge from Spirit: your worries are valid, but they are not your truth. With the Ace of Cups, we’re gifted a beautiful opportunity for emotional renewal and heart-led beginnings. Where the 9 of Swords brings mental heaviness, the Ace of Cups offers a refreshing wave of hope, inspiration, and love. This card is the heart’s invitation to open up, to let compassion and creativity flow freely. You might notice new relationships blossoming, creative projects calling your name, or simply a deepening sense of self-love. Allow yourself to be receptive—sometimes, the most profound shifts happen when we soften our grip and let joy or inspiration move through us. This is your permission slip from the universe to say yes to what lights you up, to trust the stirrings of your heart, and to welcome emotional abundance in its many forms.
8 of Cups
The journey continues with the 8 of Cups, a card of conscious departure and soulful seeking. It’s not always easy to walk away from what we’ve outgrown, especially when comfort or familiarity beckon us to stay. Yet, this card reminds us that true fulfilment often requires us to leave behind the old—be it habits, relationships, beliefs, or situations that no longer nourish our growth. As the Waxing Crescent encourages forward movement, the 8 of Cups asks: what are you ready to leave behind, and what new horizon is calling your name? There’s bravery in turning your back on the past, but also deep wisdom. Trust that your soul knows the way, and that what lies ahead is more aligned with your purpose and joy.
